I wouldn't worry about pagerank that much, I've noticed that after the last pr update it just got silly and random (or at least semi random)... Imo google is preparing to get rid of pr and use something else instead. What ? i doubt even they know at this point ;)
With interest I pursue here those always well and understandable written contributions and would like here gladly a greeting from Bavaria in Germany to leave!

Hey.. that huge 800lb gorilla has a few glitches from time to time. You know that Page Rank is slowly coming to mean less and less.. The PR will come back says Net Detective editor. Geoff Dodd.
I really think it has to do with a variety of factors really. First I notice of trend with blogs that had image links from external sources such as paid links, paid posts, and what not. They were stripped almost completely of their pagerank (ie PR 0 opposed to grey bar). Avoid all those places altogether, clean up the blog and then request reinclusion and you may see your old PR come back.
I have three blogs. One dropped from pr 3 to pr 2. One stayed at pr 2 and the other is parked with no contebt and it went from pr n/a to pr 2. It's all a mystery to me!

Yeah, me too. Some bloggers lose their pr too especially those who engage on Paid links.
Oh no! It was the same with me too. I also lost my pr. I don’t know why they did so. Let’s hope that everything will be fine in a day or two.

After the last pr update I got a PR2, but i expected at least a pr 3

I agree..trying to improve page rank can get a bit repetitive. When there are updates which make you lose page rank it´s like a kick in the teeth!!!
